Who to contact
Beyond Shopping is co-owned by Mike and Qui Houang in Greater Vancouver. For privacy questions, access or correction requests, or a request to delete correspondence, email mikehouang@gmail.com. Please do not send identification documents or medical records with your request.
When you contact us
We ask for your name, email and inquiry, with an optional telephone number. A consultation inquiry also includes the topic you choose. We use these details to respond and provide the follow-through you request. Forms include the page where you contacted us and, when available, the referring page within our websites. An inquiry does not sign you up for marketing emails.
How forms are processed
Our website validates your submission and uses FormSubmit to process and forward it to our shared business inbox, including inquiries for Qui. You may be asked to complete FormSubmit's spam verification before sending is finished. The provider and its verification services process the information needed to provide that service. The Active Life Check-In
Your 13 answers are held in the current browser page, not written to a website database or included in a follow-up request. Reloading or closing that page clears them. If you choose to follow up, only your contact details, the broad focus area and the message you write are submitted. Please keep medical and other sensitive details out of the message.
Retention and safeguards
Our application does not store a copy of inquiries in a website database. FormSubmit states that it retains submissions in its archive for 30 days. Copies forwarded to our inbox are separate from that archive and may remain as correspondence. Contact Mike to ask about an existing inquiry or request deletion. We limit the information requested, validate form fields, apply spam checks and use HTTPS. Hosting and service providers may also process technical request logs for operation and security.
Other websites
MyShop opens the Amway Canadian storefront. Evidence links, videos and other resources have their own privacy practices. Opening an external link takes you to that provider's site.
Commercial transparency
Mike and Qui are Amway Independent Business Owners. We may earn income when you buy products through us. Education is not limited to products we sell, and an inquiry does not require a purchase.
